The MoDise Approach
Our approach will identify the most important health conditions affecting the target regions, followed by a review of the best clinical practice guidelines for the identified conditions. Using this knowledge, we will integrate a suite of key low cost medical diagnostic devices that are needed for the management of the identified health conditions into our robust cloud architecture outlined below.

There is a necessity to create sustainable models to deliver better quality health services for the 2.6 billion people living on less than $2 a day. The health care challenges faced by the poor are extreme, they include limited purchasing power, no health insurance, poor health literacy, remote/rural areas are frequently under-served. Our approach involves taking all these challenges into consideration to develop a business model that will integrate mobile technology, business processes, innovative diagnostic tools, and entrepreneurial models to create sustainable models.
Currently most of the medical technology and mobile applications targeted for the low and middle income countries are based on the premise that solutions will be implemented in rural areas. This means that most solutions are typically based on SMS technology, require donor support and are unsustainable beyond the funding period or pilot phase. With the tremendous growth of the private healthcare industry in these countries, we aim to capitalize on the momentum and deliver solutions that will succeed in both urban and rural areas.
